Using LUT in Adobe Premiere

In contrast to Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere already includes LUT support. In Adobe Premiere, LUTs can therefore be easily selected and added. This can be done via Lumetri Color (effect) Adobe Premiere. Under “Creative” and “Look”, user-defined LUTs can be easily loaded into the program.

If you use LUTs regularly and repeatedly, you can also insert them into the dropdown menu by copying the LUT into the corresponding program folder of Adobe Premiere or Lumetri Color. This is not very complicated and therefore easy to use.

However, this is often the case now and LUTs are seen as filters that make every YouTube video a little prettier Adobe Premiere. But please don’t think that every. LUT will immediately create the desired and almost perfect look for you. Working with LUTs is simply more pleasant. But they do not usually replace manual color grading.

For example, I use LUTs myself primarily to create the basics. The LUT shows you the direction you want to go. But the actual grading is still manual work and almost always requires manual adjustment for each individual clip. Nevertheless, LUTs are a very simple ımproving visibility in search engines and pleasant way of creating certain looks and that is also because there are now countless high-quality LUT packs. But as already mentioned, there is also a lot of rubbish. So at the end I would like to name a few of the better sources for LUTs that you can take a look at. There are some free ones and some paid ones.
